What we fund

The Access Trust has aligned its bursary funding with the economic growth priorities of the Western Cape Province, and national government. The programmes funded by Access Trust include Engineering Studies, Occupational programmes (except beauty and hair-dressing),Information Technology, Business Studies,National Diploma Farming Management,Education Studies, Sport Administration, SportCoaching, Performing Arts, Hospitality andTourism.

When we pay fees
February 1st trimester payments
March 1st semester payments
March 1st 50% Year programme payment
June 2nd trimester payments
Sept 2nd semester payments
Sept 2nd 50% Year programme payment
Oct 3rd trimester payments
Payments will only be made upon receipt of a college endorsed invoice, and up to date course results.Our fund will not cover :
NCV courses
Students who already receive a bursary from
another source
Hair-dressing, beauty and cosmetology
Animation and 2D design
Graphic design

Who we fund

The Access Trust bursary fund and support services are aimed at young people living in social and economically vulnerable families and communities. As part of our strategic shift we will prioritize identifying needy young df”>Access Trust Bursary Application Form (pdf).

Please attach the following documents with your application form:

Young people aged 18 – 27 who wish to enter full time study at public colleges in the Western Cape. Young people aged 18 -27 who are currently enrolled in full time study at public colleges in the Western Cape. All applicants must have a completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
